Master of Science (M.Sc.) Marie-Monique Schaper

Biographie

Marie-Monique Schaper is a researcher and UX/UI designer who specializes in merging technology and design research. Working in concept development, interface and interaction design, she benefits from her interdisciplinary educational background. Marie holds a German Diploma degree in Graphic Design from the University of Applied Science and Arts of Hildesheim, Germany.Before returning to academe, Marie spent 5 years in the new media industry working as web designer. During her masters in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain), she focused her research on different participative design methods and embodied human-computer interaction. Her recent work includes interactive environments with full-body interaction to create immersive design experiences and new educational approaches for children.
